Yes that was rather hard to watch knowing that it was the last TNG episode on TV

Never shed tears to Star Trek either, but one scene that still gives me sad and melancholic goosebumbs and a clot in my throat is this one moment in ST The Wrath of Khan, when Kirk runs down to engeneering.

They are all on the bridge, they just jumped to warp, away from the exploding Reliant, all gets quiet and then Scotty calls in, telling Kirk to get down to engeneering and to do it fast. The music of Jame Horner is just amazing when Kirk rushes down there. Brilliant moment.

The title is 'Genesis Countdown' and the part I mean is the short crecendo that starts at 5:30. Intense.

Talking about episodes, the moment Picard breaks down in 'Family' is definetly the closest to realy sadness for me. Someone allready mentioned it here. Robert provoces Picrad on the wine yard, they start to brawl and Picard breaks up in tears, remembering what the Borg did to him.

Yes, the beginning of this track is so great and inspiring... and the end is just so sad.

It probably would be sad for me if I weren't already rolling on the floor at the sight of Captain Picard and his brother mud-wrestling in the vineyards.

It is a good scene though.

Recently the Enterprise episode I saw with Sim (Trip's clone) left me a little glassy-eyed.
