Well, does TRON count? If so, then yeah, there has been one good video game movie that I've seen.

Haven't seen Mortal Kombat in years, don't remember it being very good though. Never saw Silent Hill (or even played the game) so cant judge that one. My dad says it's good, but then again he also likes the Resident Evil movies and just about every bad movie on the Sci-Fi channel.

TRON wouldn't really count. It was a movie about computers and video games, but not about any one game in particular.

Yeah, that was a blast, especially the "Director's Cut" of the game.
Of course, I also love the redux they did on GameCube....stunning!

I can't wait until Afterlife comes out on DVD/Blu-Ray. Hopefully it will be in standard format as opposed to having to buy it with 3D glasses haha!

Well, if they do release it in 3D it'll probably be dual format.

When the older 3D movies (Spy Kids 3, and others) were released on DVD in 3D (with the red and blue glasses) they were released in dual format....2D and 3D in the same package.
