Am sure Spock's mum put them up and lent them all Spock's robes, either that or went picking them off a few Vulcan clothes lines.

He swam a few metres, got tired and let his stunt double do the rest.

10.Uhura and Chekov are at the Enterprise. Scotty, Sulu, and McCoy are getting plexiglass. Who beams aboard Spock when Kirk and Gillian drop him off? Was it Maltz?

Maybe 'Mr Adventure' from TSFS decided he'd fill in to get out the closet.
