Yep, I felt it was going off the boil anyway by the time he left but that was the final straw. I like Laurence Fishbourne (in movies) but he doesn't work on CSI, nor do I like that the producers have seemingly tried to morph the LV show into something that more resembles the Miami show.

Probably because by some mystifiable reason, it seems to be the most popular one presently. I never could get into the spin-off's much either and I outright detest every conceivable aspect of CSI: Miami, including the whole cast.

Simply it seems CBS realized they had let slip a way to make money...that's why CBS Consumer Products will be running the revamped site.

Here is still hoping for a ST series, even if it is another ship and crew TNG or later. Even the AU version would be good, with another ship and crew, but I'm thinking that the AU would be better served by just keeping it to movie episodes.

Well, CBS can't use the Paramount AU as far as I understand (which may be wrong but has been inferred over the past couple of years be a few) so they would have to create a third AU of their own if they wanted to go down that route.

Or do another show somewhere within the PU. In which case I personally would prefer another jump ahead (25th Century etc) than yet another attempt to fill a 'gap' in the history of the PU.

Yea, they could do one where Spock comes through the vortex.......ahead of Nero. Kelvin is spared and SF is given a good advance notice of Nero's eventual appearance and he is then met by a force that is adequately prepared to defeat him.

New members can register...but no one is approving their accounts...so they will not be able to post.

When was the last time you saw a post by a new member?

The new startrek.com went online last night...all I can say is, remember in STV when the Enterprise was in no shape to be sent to Nimbus III? That's what the new site is like...existing members can't get in, the store isn't working, some things look incomplete...overall, the only people on the boards are either brand new members, existing members who have made dual accounts, or plants who seem to be the ones saying how great the new site is.
