The script to "Men in Black III-D" is being rewritten by David Koepp. The plot will reportedly be set in the year 1969 for much of the film.

Yeah, it's going to feature Josh Brolin as a young Agent K while at the same time flash forward to the present Tommy Lee Jones Agent K. It should be interesting. I also hear that the film is going to take place in Florida.

Sounds intriguing. It would seem that there will be less Will Smith if much of the film takes place in 1969.

Seems like we're heading for something possibly connected to a certain Moon mission that year maybe in the mix.

Good point. In any case, I hope it's good. I didn't mind the second one, but it was just kind of blah compared to the original.

MIB is one of my favourite sci-fi movies because of its this weird mixture of humour, action and UFO belief caricature. And above all it doesn't depict aliens as mere extremes like evil invaders or peaceful wise guys (OK, the two main races fit into these patterns) but covers the whole spectrum.
I don't think that another sequel will be any good.

Who knows? I didn't think the second one was even close to the creativeness the first one had. Maybe they can turn it around. Either way, the first one will always be the best.
