Default Film Recommendation: Doomsday
If you loved the 80s (especially their moviees) you will absolute love this film!! When I went to watch this, I wasn't really expecting to love it so much!! Its Rated R though, and has Rambo-like violence....but it is still enjoyable! The movie is paying homage to the directors favorite movies as a kid (Escape from New york, The Warriors..etc) and you can easily pick out the scene's that are doing it! It was GREAT MOVIE! If you have the time, please watch! I really want this to do well, so we can have a sequel!

The movie is definitely heavily influenced by Escape from New York and The
Road Warrior with plenty of gore and blood. Even though I don't think it's director Neil Marshall's best work it's still good if you like apocalyptic movies.

I have a hard time seeing Rhona Mitra as an action star...especially after Nip/Tuck and Boston Legal.

Actually she does a decent job in the film, but she's no Kate Beckinsale.

Rhona was great in this! I have never heard of here before this movie, but I look forward to keeping up to date with her projects!
