Ronnie James Dio, passed away at 67.
Ronnie James Dio, probably THE premiere voice of metal, has passed away at the age of 67. I saw this on Yahoo news.
I was deeply saddened. Dio was a big influence on me in recent years. Songs like "Heaven and Hell", "The Man on the Silver Mountain", and "Rainbow in the Dark" will always stick with me. For a man of such small stature, he had perhaps the biggest, and most powerful voice in rock n roll. He was suffering from stomach cancer, and finally passed on. Rest In Peace, Ronnie James Dio.

RIP Dio. One of the more unique voices in Metal history. Sad to see him go, he was only 67.
