Just going to throw my 2 cents in here. There is no such thing as "the one." You may eventually decide to settle down with someone but that is a choice and only you can decide if that choice is right for you. That doesn't mean you could not have a successful long term relationship with someone else. Either way with every relationship you learn something new and if you decided this isn't right for you then you can always move on but the experience will help you in the future.

From my personal experience with every relationship once it ended I realized it taught me something new and has helped me refine what I'm looking for in a relationship and a partner. So hopefully down the road I can find that. For now enjoy the ride and the experience and see where it takes you.

P.S. I've also learned that there is such a variety of women out there but they all have one thing in common. They are all crazy. Keep that in mind.

I agree so much with Enterprise Captain- as long as no one winds up injured or in jail, there is no BAD relationship because each one is a learning experience... assuming one learns from it. There are too many people who make the same mistakes over and over.

Regardless of what happens here, at its conclusion, you will no longer be a newbie. You will be able to take the experience with you into your next relationship. You will hopefully be able to recapture the good things you have experienced and avoid the bad ones.
