I always enjoyed William Shatner's portrayal of Kirk....except for those times when he was a little....overemphatic.

But overall, Shatner's portrayal was naturalistic, and human...especially in TWOK and TUC.

You either like Nu Kirk or you don't anyway I'm interested to see where they take him Nu Kirk in the sequels, oops I'm bringing up old threads.

That could have been in part due to Meyer's discovery that Shatner improves the more takes you make him do!
