Well I've read a couple of things that aren't enthusiastic but most of them stem from the fact it seems to be a cheapo reboot ($80 million budget for a 3D Spidey flick that's going back and doing the 'origins' again?) and that seemed to be existing anyway.

Though Cameron's now involvement doesn't seem to be improving things!

I had heard he was meant to be attached to it a few years back before Raimi came onboard but I have no ideas what his ideas were.
