Sure TrueTrek or the prime universe is awesome as well I have nearly seen all 79 episodes isn't that great especially the cast and the variety of stories they do in every episode.

It's the reason why the story and the characters are much bigger...much more grand than the design of the ship, or the actors portraying her crew. Star Trek, when her writers were on their A-game, was very profound. When her writers were not at their best, she was silly camp--but it, overall, was culture-changing television.

And without the silly (which, let's face it - at times we enjoy! ) we wouldn't be able to appreciate the deeper parts as well!

You gotta have a solid measure of both in Star Trek or it's not Trek!

I hate that the sequel didn't come on immediately after the first film ended!
