She played a Trekkie in The Terminal.

She is easy on the eyes. Spocura threw me for a loop at first but I warmed up to the relationship pretty quickly. I wonder if it'll persist or evolve(devolve?) into something closer to what we saw in TOS? And will a certain Christine Chapel come along and throw a wrench into their works?

You mean you weren't put off by the fact that the warp nacelles were pitched at a 45* angle instead of a 46* angle?
![]() Hooray for willing suspension of disbelief, and the ability to differentiate between that which is real and that which is pretend.

I liked the Uhura-Spock relationship.
I will just throw in that the while I am a fan of the movie, and it was fun, watching it multiple times has led me to like it less. The plot holes just became gaping for me by the 3rd and 4th time. (My son and I have watched it a few times)

I find it flows better the more I watch it - once you become aware of plot holes I find they either stick or you can ignore them enough to keep watching - but overall the holes themselves don't worry me too much.
The more I do watch it though (and watch TOS alongside it) the more it feels like a good continuation.

Now Kevin, that's just encouraging me to watch it more
