It doesn't flow naturally.

So you're a cadet, you're stunning - what's your focus?

The You're Stunning like is completely out of whack with the rest of his line.

Kirk tried appealing to her beauty, and was shot down in flames, so now he's appealing to her career to get a positive response.

Since almost everyone is going for "studying", I'll rally to the majority. Kevin's idea of using the subtitles is excellent. I'll do that next time I watch that scene.
