I'll repost what I wrote in another thread:

Perhaps we could start a democratic election here. All members would elect several moderators who wouldn't technically be mods because they can't edit or delete anything, but who would have some kind of authority because the majority of the members stands behind them. A little command structure based not on real power but on the judgment of the members who voted.
And all members would have to edit or remove posts when the mods say so. No one can force them, of course. It would be like the clone of Kahless, who was a spiritual leader without real power, but of great importance.
It must be a thing that we all support, we all together should nominate and vote. Only then can the winners truly represent us all.

Who would you see fit? We can collect names here and after some time (a week?) we would vote. What do you think?

Thanks, but I frequently have my jerk moments so I don't think that I am suited for the job. Plenty of nicer folks around here.
