After the initial boom when the DVD releases, I bet this place becomes a ghost town within a month. That's especially if no newbies can join.

Which is really awful. I know people who became fans because of this movie and they can't join now...

And you have to figure that as the DVD gets out there and people see it, that will create even more fans. There are tons of people that don't even go to movie theaters anymore because they have HD home theaters in their living rooms.

The thread that vanished was started by that Capt. Pike dude -he started both the abortion and Taliban threads, and if memory serves, the white supremacy crap a while back. Nuts to him.

One must assume the mods are looking to see if people are posting stuff from the DVDs - which I can only assume violates some copywrite law or another.
