Was the head of the House of Duras the same guy that was mentioned in the TNG episode where Alexander travels back in time to "Klingon-up" himself? In that episode the blade taken from the "attackers" to prove the attck on Worf was done by the house of Duras showed a mark for a son of one of the Duras sisters (I can't remember which). Was that unborn son ever named in that episode?
I can understand Martok attacking the Romulans and even the Gorn, but I don't see his character ever attacking the UFP. It just isn't right. He was a strong Federation ally and owed his seat as Chancellor to Worf. I know the designers of STO wanted the good ol'-bad guy-Klingons back, but they should have written in Martok dying and the House of Duras pulling some shanannigans to take control of the Empire. An old man Worf would then be forced into exile in the Federation. Was that creature that Duras interrogated Species 8472? Kind of looked like it. I can;t remember if they walked on two or three legs. If it was 8472 then it is pure BS, even for Trek, for a Klingon to kill one, much less two, then capture a third. One 8472 would have torn him to pieces!!
