Wouldn't think they would be spending as much time with his conflict of emotions and all that. It worked great in the first movie, showed a younger, less experienced Spock, but I'd imagine in the next he'd be more the disciplined, cool tempered Spock we're used to, unless of course the movie centers around his getting to that point!

I feel that Quinto's Spock is quite a different character from Nimoy's Spock, but I admire both actors and their performances of the character. In fact, I'm glad for the differences in style and nuance; I'm not that interested in watching a complete re-hash of what we've seen before. Full marks to both, anyway, and it was fantastic to see them share the screen.
