I'm definitely intrigued by this. Can US residents order from Amazon.de?

^That's what I would like to know as well.

Doesn't Target have some sort of business relationship with Amazon.com?
I think when you order DVDs from the Target website it goes through Amzon.com.

Perhaps Target may actually carry this in the U.S.
Crosses fingers.

Yeah, Target does business online through Amazon, but I doubt it will be a Target exclusive should it be released here. I calculated (thanks to Google) that the price would be about 27 American dollars. I don't know what the shipping would be, but I'm interested since i have the ability to view DVDs from other regions.

http://www.technicolor.com/GlobalEng...Paramount.aspx

That link is a list of Paramount DVDs that have passed a Conformity Certificate.

Scroll down and they have an entry for the following.

Paramount Star Trek (2009) Starship Enterprise DVD Case - Target exclusive

So it would seem to confirm that Target will be carrying the Enterprise DVD case.

It won't be available, companies have been denying the US market stuff like this for years.

^I don't see why not.

Target is going to carry the Bumble-Bee transforming case for Transformers 2.

Plus the link I posted above clearly states "Starship Enterprise DVD Case - Target Exclusive".
I think a company such as Technicolor would know such info before they posted it on their website.

I hope we get it but I'm not going to hold my breath. I'd like to buy the metal 1701 model instead of having to buy the DVD set from amazon.
