Um.... the problem with this idea is that it would create TWO "Prime" Kirks. We KNOW Kirk Prime left the Nexus in order to help Picard. We watched him die. It's one thing to say Borg nanoprobes revived him but it's quite another to say the Nexus created one Kirk that helped Picard and another that ended up in the JJverse.

Beyond the "in universe" reasons why I am against seeing a return of Shatner Kirk, I am against it because this new movie(s) is about a NEW set of actors and an alternate universe. It makes NO sense to keep trying to throw in a character and actor from another universe and time.
