I burnt myself at the beginning of a school holiday and my parents completely spoilt me by renting pretty much the first season of TNG of that to week holiday. I was hooked, model kits and searching for books at boot sales, second hand stores and markets followed.

And no the James Blish adaptations did not suck at all...that's how I "watched" most of the OS for the first time.

That the exploration that awaits you. Not mapping stars and studying nebula, but charting the unknown possibilities of existence. - Q
