Wait until they make a remake of TJ Hooker, that'll really set him off!

I always thought it would have been so cool that in STIV, if he had "met" T.J. Hooker in passing.

They would need another middle-aged former sci-fi hero.

Just as important, who would replace his pretty partner?

while im dissapointed that he hasnt seemingly embraced this (and if love him to see it and be happy) for heavens sake leave him alone. if he doesnt want to see it, he doesnt want to see it.

i read somewhere that Mr shatner has no historical pictures of himself in his house because it reminds him of the ageing process. if this is true then its only understandable that he not want to see face to face a younger version of himself on the big screen.

leave him be to make his own mind up. it must be hard when it comes to a point in time when you are no longer required to play a role you solely have occupied for 40 years because you are deemed too old. Good luck to him.

Him not being in the film was the right decision. He has already passed the torch 15 years ago to the Next Generation when they did their first film, Generations.

Leonard has now passed the torch to the new cast playing the original series characters. He has been with Star Trek since its beginning along with the late Majel Roddenberry. Now, only he and Herb Solow are the only statesmen left for Star Trek.
