Question Why only 1 Trailer with Cloverfield?

Shouldn't they release a new one with other movies? Or at least play the same trailer with another paramount movies! Look at Ironman for example, whatever movie I see, I always see a trailer for it! Ironman is getting TRUE exposure!

Most likely one will come with Ironman or Indiana Jones...but it would be nice to see the original one back in theatres again!

One: trailer space is limited in front of the featured film, and studios are always competing for those spots for their trailers. After a certain time frame in crowded markets, old trailers give way to new trailers who take over those spaces.

Two: IRON MAN is getting "TRUE exposure" because it opens in less than two months. STAR TREK opens in fourteen months. The two situations aren't even comparable.

A year from now, you'll be seeing that final TREK trailer in front of all the movies. It will get its time for a saturation campaign, but that isn't now.

True, they don't want it overhyped before we even get close to the release date. As it's helping kick off the summer, it will definitely get its screen time.
