I just hope this'll be the last thread suggesting ways to bring him back.
I'm ready to slap the next person who starts a thread like this with a MEGO Kirk figure.

That's right....MEGO-Fu.

Please stop. We've already hashed this out. Shatner's Kirk died in Generations. There's no need to resurrect him not for any reason. Not even for a flashback, or memory. Let it go. Face the facts. William Shatner is an old man who barely has any resemblance to the Kirk we once knew.
Chris Pine is Kirk. Let's allow him to captain this crew. Even Nimoy should step back out of the picture. A mention of Spock Prime and his work with the Vulcan colonization effort is enough. The last generation must give way to the next.

Let's see what the Shat himself has to say:

I don't do cameos so stop it or I'll punch you.

Couldnt resist. Spaceballs really isnt that great of a movie but once in awhile you gotta watch it for lines like "I bet she gives great helmet" and "I see your swartz is as big as mine, now lets see how you handle it."

Heartless? No, we Vulcans just keep our hearts in different places than you poor earthlings.
(That way they don't get in the way of rational thought).

Shatner would be a wonderful big floating godhead...face it, it's the part he was born to play...

If not that, he would be a really good Harcourt Fenton Mudd.

What he cannot be is Kirk in any way, shape or form....that's over and done with.

He was already The Big Giant Head on 3rd Rock From the Sun. I don't think he wants to get typecast. Besides, he's rolling in all that Priceline Negotiator dough.
