2001: A Space Odyssey did it earlier as well--except that it implied that aliens began tampering with prehistoric man to see if he would amount to anything or just remain a hairy ape scratching his butt all day...

FYI If you wash well you don't scratch because it doesn't dry and or stick to the surfaces of each cheek through out the day.

I wasn't suggesting that aliens (godlike or otherwise) have visited the earth. I was simply suggesting that we have technology now which would have amazed people in the 1920s.

That's why I asked. From what I could tell based on your previous posts you did NOT believe Earth had been visited by E.T.'s, but your post did imply that Biblical miracles could be the result of alien technology and interference.

Yes, I know that sounds like StarGate SG-1, but that idea is nothing new and that show only expanded on the idea.
