When franchises connect.......
Don't know if this is particularly known but it might be of interest to fans of Battlestar Galactica and 24.

I was far more impressed with the acting chops of Tricia Helfer than Katie.
I had to check the credits after seeing Tricia in an episode of Supernatural to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me since I didn't even recognize her until near the end.

Yes, I remember that episode - I have all Supernatural on DVD. It's the wig she wore on BSG throws you off.
The majority of the BSG cast were very good at playing their parts, and I agree on Helfer, but Sackhoff was pretty strong herself.

I loved every actor and actress in BSG. And I think Sackoff will make an awesome addition to the cast of 24.

Exactly how are franchises connecting here? This is just another instance of an actor from one series moving on with life and finding other acting jobs. Alien vs. Predator, or Jason vs. Freddy, now that's connecting franchises!

Well, yes I could have put a dull thread heading on, but thought I would jazz it up a bit. They're TV franchises (BSG has two TV series and two TV movies around it, 24 had the TV movie spin-off).
Can't win 'em all.  I choose to forget the other examples due to their hideousness (even if they are more accurate, technically)
