Sci-fi Now has posted the new 2012 trailer. Directed by ID4 Director Roland Emmerich, 2012 looks like another disaster film where we get to see alot of famous places get blown up, and another unlikely actor (Danny Glover) play the as the President. ![]() |

I didn't have a problem with the climate change aspect of the movie but the fact that all that doodoo occurred within a matter of days. |

I think it looks like really good entertainment with some "possible" history predictions in it. Many Biblical scholars say 2012 has some really historical significance. Who knows? I have heard a lot of people who don't read the Bible say that the govt. will run out of money in 2012. This could be a very interesting movie!!!!

I believe it involves an alternate dimension that John Cusack's character travels to as well - so the devastation may not be what it appears to be.
Or it might be. Some great apocalyptic effects, but it'll be the usual Emmerich dumbness for the most part. 2012 is supposed to be the end of the world in some fashion. It has a lot of stuff on the internet about it. (Don't buy your Christmas presents that year too early, just in case!) But since all the other end of the world prophecies haven't passed - meh, who knows!!

Looks like his best since Independence Day! I think that they should have released it this summer rather than November...doesn't seem like a November flick.
