Alien Nation back on the Radar!

Sci-fi Now is reporting that the Sci-fi channel is currently developing a reboot of the classic 80s sci-fi show, Alien Nation. Firefly producer Tim Minear is heading it up. No word if Kenneth Johnson will have any role in its development, but it seems unlikely.

Hmmm... might be interesting. I kinda suspect it will go for the BSG realism thing. That article mentioned a remake of Red Dawn? Gotta look that one up. Total Reagan movie but still fun to watch now and then.

They had better resolve that budding romance between Grouchy Cop and Hot Alien Lady. I used to sneak out of work early to get home in time to see that show, and was peee-ohhhed when it got canned.

This show just never really appealed to me on any level. I really hope they do something radically different with this reboot and rework it from the ground up...

Yeah. it would be nice if Sci Fi could actually keep a GOOD show on the air instead of just the BS of ghost hunting plumbers and ECW...
Maybe, one day, they'll realize their hideious mistake, and reboot Farscape.
