It's a bit like Ben Stiller. They need something new.
I agree some actors are hot one day, then cold the next. I liked BOTH Ben Stiller movies AND Will Ferrell movies. I am getting a bit tapped out with the reoccurring character Ferrell always plays, but I still laughed my butt off when I watched Land of the Lost.

sorry, but I grew up watching fifties and sixties comedians...I just do not like the brand of humor that Will brings. Give me Robin Williams, now...and I'll fall out of my chair and roll on the floor!!!

I haven't really liked Robin Williams since he did Mrs. Doubtfire. Since then his comedy seems to bug me. He's better off being the voice of a cartoon character at this point. I really liked his performance in Aladdin. Just different tastes!

He may've jumped the shark, maybe not. The guy has made me laugh for a lot of years now so I hope he hasn't. In any case we'll always have Talladega Nights, one of the funniest movies ever.

The one and only sketch from SNL that he was in, that made me laugh, was the "Cowbell" one... and that was more because of Chris Walken's portrayal of the record producer.

I sort of liked Stranger Than Fiction....I understand why not everyone did. I loved, loved, loved Will Ferrell in Elf....I had high hopes for him. I think he's having a hard time making the break from "stupid sophomoric" to "adult"...

Tom Hanks should teach classes on how to make the jump.
