My thoughts/comments: looks like a haunted spaceship plot for the pilot. The show takes place within the context of being a reality show about long-term space flight. The actors are all British or American. I think the astrophysicist and geologist are the gay couple. Spoilers about the show suggested there was one.

I'm gonna DVR it, but I'll wait till it airs before I watch any of it. Don't like spoilers...

JLA, the pics in your sig. That can ONLY be Persis Khambatta, yes? If so, God, what a beautiful woman she was. Her loss was so sad.

It is her and yes, her loss was so sad. I was shocked to hear about it back in the day (has it been 10 years?).

I definitely want to see how this plays out.

It seems to have a blend of a few elements within it - the crew on a long distance mission reminds me of the film Sunshine, in which they also had a VR style chamber they could recreate Earth on.

The use of VR pods while they themselves are on a reality style show being watched on Earth is also intriguing (though wonder how long that connection would hold?).

Anyway, lots of ideas seeming to be at work, though it looks as though it could have the problem of not moving fast enough for a TV audience to stay with.

I'd like to see the whole thing.
