Never let the opinion of chowderheads ruffle your feathers. I know it's trite, but life really does get 100% better after high school!

Everyone is right- hold your head up and ignore what the kids say to you. If you know you are doing what is right, then that's what matters the most. You are learning selflessness, charity, empathy, and other terrific things that will help you in life...in addition to gathering blessings!

And, please remember that even though being a teenager can be tough at times, it passes quickly. What teens your age think is important- being popular, cool, etc- really isn't. Trust me. Be yourself and have confidence in your abilities and choices- that's what's really important. (It's called maturity!! Sounds like you are a step or two ahead of the others!)

You aren't and gender has nothign to do with it at all. True strength comes from within. Like Spock you endure the insults to be who you are at your core, a caring, compassionate person.

That's awesome that you help people!! Don't EVER be ashamed of it. Some kids are just ignorant fools, ignore them. You have a good heart and it will serve you well in the future. Do what brings you joy and don't concern yourself with the idiot fools that make fun of you. It can be difficult, I KNOW, but it is the best way to deal with them. Showing them their taunts are getting to you only fuels their desire to keep that kind of behavior up.
