If I would wear a Star Trek ava myself, I belive this question would seem a little offensive, selfserving and vain.
It's maybe a "Only Nixon can go to China" kind of thing.

But not only Nixon can be a hypocrite. There is at least an implied hypocrisy when one considers the statement of your thread starter vis a vis your avatar. Unless your reason or goal for this thread is other than what's obvious and ostensible. That remains to be seen. As is your avatar's Trek connection, if any.
