I have since heard that they do not think it was suicide, but an accident...something about another body part that had rope tied to it. And that rope also being tied to the one around his neck. look up almost any news site that updates more than once an hour...you'll find an article.

Yeah, it's shaping up that he fell victim to the same thing that got Michael Hutchins of INXS, and cartoonist Vaughn Bode... and countless teens every year... auto erotic asphixiation. I'm sure we'll hear more at time goes on.

Well, it WAS in Thailand... as soon as I heard that, I was kind of surprised that it wasn't a more.... exotic death. People don't go to Bangkok for the museums, n'est pas?

No, and even though he was there to shoot a film, he would have wanted to have some 'fun' off set...I just wonder, was he alone, or did whoever was with him panic and leave him there?

I doubt there was anyone else there... "breath control" as a fetish is something people practice in either a kneeling position, or while lying in bed. (Less chance of injury should you pass out and fall.) No, the hanging in a closet routine is almost always a sign of the solitary practishioner... I think poor David was going for an "untimate orgasm" and accidentally choked himself.

Sounds like he got his "UO".

Too bad . I've been a fan since Kung Fu. And was really thrilled to see his Kill Bill comeback.

But lets us be aware David had a lifelong problem with drugs/drinking (He was supposedly sober at that time) and depression, both can drive you to do harm to yourself.

It sounds like that would be more a sign of him trying to alleviate that with pleasure.

In deep depression, sometimes death is the only percived way out to the person suffering from it.

It could be - but it seems he just had a particular liking for a sexual activity that came with risk and lost out this time.
