Smile Nimoy Speaks! Says Karl Urban's Performance Moved Him to Tears

Leonard Nimoy, the honorary philosopher-king of the Star Trek franchise and, along with William Shatner, one of the most recognizable figures in science fiction today, has commented on the performances of the actors who now embody the bridge crew of the new Enterprise. Of special interest is his comment about the new Leonard "Bones" McCoy:

Quote:
When Karl Urban introduced himself as Leonard McCoy and shook hands with Chris Pine as Captain Kirk, I burst into tears. Karl's performance is so moving, touching and powerful that I think DeForest Kelley would be smiling, and maybe in tears as well.
Amazing stuff.
