Opinions on Earth: Final Conflict?
I'm thinking of buying the first season DVD since it's quite reasonable, so please keep the spoilers to a minimum. Thanks ![]()

I'm thinking of buying it too. I saw it at WalMart for like $27 U.S. dollars. This is the first time its been released on Dvd. I remember watching a few episodes when it aired, but i don't know from which seasons they were. It's been described as Roddenberry's "V", which was an American sci-fi mini-series in the 80s that dealt with visitors claiming to be friends but having an alterior motive. That's all i can say about it. I'd like to hear more opinions about it too, it might help me decide to get it or not.

I never could get into that show, they kept moving it all over the place. It never came on in any kind of regular time slot.

Earth:FC is the first posthumous (non-Trek) Roddenberry based sci-fi show. The second was Andromeda. Both shows were produced by Majel Roddenberry. The plot involves a species of aliens known as the Taelons who have made first contact with humans and present themselves as friendly visitors who are here to help humanity, but may have ulterior motives and plans for humanity. It's been described as a cross between "V" and "Alien Nation".
