I'm not much of a fan of his work. He uses alot of gore and humor. I liked his first independent film though, El Mariachi. That was a pretty imaginative piece of low budget film making.

Both Predator movies have plenty of gore. Hopefully he'll take lessons from the other two and follow their example.

Well....like the old saying goes.....You can't have "manslaughter" without "laughter", for it would completely take the "fun" out of "funeral".

Neat thing is, they're two separate sayings (that I cannot take credit for: The manslaughter saying is off of a t-shirt I saw from tshirthell.com, and the funeral saying is from Batman the Animated Series)...and I just fused 'em into one.

I guess, i'm just thinking he might make Predator too silly. I guess, i'm thinking more along the lines of his older films like from 'Dusk til Dawn', 'Desperado', etc. His newer stuff, along the lines of 'Sin City', is visually very appealing.

I hear ya, but I don't think things can get any sillier than they did in the AvP movies, especially the first one...
