I'm holding on to the slip hope that she's in the hospital. lol
If possible, it would be nice if they could have a few moments in the next movie where one or two of the characters deal with the death of a roommate or someone they knew. I'm not sure how they'd work that in but it what be a nice moment. |

Or...
One thing that did surprise me in a Trek movie or show was all the bodies floating around the destroyed ships. There seemed to be alot of them. Its one of those 'realism' things that I dont think I have actually seen before in Trek. At least not on a large scale. So I suppose we can hope she isnt among them. |

OK, well now I have something else to watch for next time! (I FINALLY spotted the Vulcan ships on the horizon after like four times trying) |

I kinda wanted to see one hit off the Enterprise viewscreen......(sigh).
It could have been Gaila as well. For a little moment for the audience. maybe too contrived though.

Whereabouts? I never knew there were Vulcan ships.

![]() When Spock beams down to Vulcan, watch the sky behind him. There's at least one little ship and several other contrails showing where a couple other ships just left. I remember someone had mentioned the ships and I've been trying and failing to find them, usually because I forget to look whenever we get to the scenes on Vulcan. This time, however, I just kept scanning the sky until I found them. |

Some people probably survived in escape pods or shuttles, it would be easy to write that in if you wanted to bring a character back. It's plausible that Nero would not have taken the time to pursue individual escape pods. His objective was to destroy Vulcan. Pursuing tiny little escape pods/shuttles would have wasted time when Nero had no idea whether or not other reinforcements would be arriving. I think you could plausibly say he ignored the escape pods in favor of going after Vulcan.
On the other hand, you could argue that the other ships were destroyed so quickly no one had time to escape. |

I don't think it was. It was the wrong shape, not to mention that there were other identical contrails in the same area, which would suggest that several other ships of similar size had passed that way moments before the one that I saw. Besides, the Narada was too high up to leave a contrail like the ship that's seen on the horizon. The Narada was like suborbital and at the edge of the atmosphere or something.
