Where? I still didn't hear her assigned anywhere specific any of the times I've watched the movie. Not knowing her last name is a bit of a problem. I keep trying and trying to hear the ship assignments every time but I never hear her name in that part, since they're going by last names. I'm assuming she has one... Well, I never hear her first name anyway. There's nothing that sounds like "Gaila" to me.

That said, I too have come to the conclusion that she is, unfortunately, probably a goner. Much as I hate to admit it. I'd thought I'd spotted her in the upper balcony in the medal ceremony at the end but when I looked again the last two times or so, I'm sure it wasn't her.

As I said in another thread (2 threads talking about Gaila, jeez she is popular), I initially swore she was assigned Farragut, but after rewatching the scene, the best I can get is "(A word that sounds like Gaila), report to the Antares."

We need to start a new thread about this, as we are wandering way off course.
