Actually those are all very good points. That would mean Kirk would be going to planets where the inhabitants know everything there is about love. Probably places more 'experienced' in love than anywhere else in the galaxy.

Oh yes. The female equivalent of Spock would be as illogical as they come. Also, she would have the intense need for Pon Farr every single day except for once every 7 years.
