Well they're always well covered every year and everyone at least sort of pays attention to them, so I guess they're kind of relevant in terms of pop culture. I don't normally watch them but I usually know who won what.
Apparently they haven't been as good in recent years. |

Star Trek was released too close to the MTV Movie Awards for this year. It isn't nominated for anything.
Next year it will be though. |
