Thank God that's not canon.
I don't care for the Destiny writing or plot....very poor, almost fan-ish.

I wish that the doctor had been able to figure out a way to do it on the show that would have been much more preferable than to do it in some book.

Unfortunately (for you!) it is canon.

I am curious, because I thought you would have liked it. It had some really interesting technical ideas that make you stretch your mind a little...

As for being fan-ish, I think there are many other books out there that are WAY more fan-ish than Destiny. It's not like they tried to include every character of every series like some do!
