i dont know why trek isnt so popular in europe,i can only tell u here in greece star trek cut 50000 tickets and the inferior wolverine cut 150000

I dont understand this lack of interest in Europe for Star Trek. As a Brit im chuffed that we (Britain) delivered a good healthy chunk financially into the pot.

In Europe the UK and Germany usually are "Star Trek countries".

Elsewhere (like France) it's quite different.

Why? Noone knows. Maybe just luck, if TOS was a success in the ~ 70s it cleared the way for all the other ST productions, if it wasn't noone cared for any ST sequels in following times, too.
