Didn't they cover that joke in Galaxy Quest?

I love the idea of Cupcake being the new "Wedge" and we never actually get to hear his real name.

Would love to see a rematch on shore leave (or other off duty) sometime . . . Kirk owes him a body slam onto a table.
Reckon Cupcake and Kirk should be evenly matched in a fight to keep it interesting and the tension between them going.

Not in the context in which I was describing, I'm pretty sure...

Hmm I wonder if we can get the actor who played "Cadet/Ensign Cupcake" to talk with us on these boards.

I think Kirk should force him to modify his red shirt uniform with a small pink cupcake graphic replacing the gold delta on his chest.

I'm not so sure about this 'new canon'.

But it's funny!

I think Cupcake is Jason Matthew Smith, according to IMDB.

Who's Cupcake's agent?

What would be hysterical is if we suddenly have a new poster on the board with the username of "Cupcake."

Seriously for just a moment, I think Kirk would likely offer him the chance to stay on the ship but leave it to Cupcake to choose if he felt he could serve under Kirk's command. If he was able to I could see them becoming friends. (Assuming Cupcake didn't get killed by a poisonous flower or beamed down to a planet that wasn't there or.... Well you get the picture.) If not, then I could see Kirk writing a solid recommendation for a man with enough integrity to admit there was a problem with him staying on the same ship.
