Just don't cross the streams.

As for hobbies, I garden. Once the Boy is in school, I'd like to get back into sewing.

Sew all his clothes...trust me, he'll hate you for life.

I crochet all sorts of things...bonsai trees, doll clothes, wild animals....

Hobbies, pretty much flyfishing, tennis and hiking. Maybe those are more sports except for the last one.

Reading because there are so many good books and so little time.
Jogging because when I feel like mashed potatoes it is the sure way to feel fresh again.
Playing chess because it is the most fascinating game that exists.
Cooking because you need a meal for a wine, unless it is a sweet one.

As my screen name suggests, I do a lot of writing, but I also play around with HDDV filmmaking, and I also dabble in painting spacescapes and science fiction illustration.

Standard geekery here. I've got a major soft spot for tabletop roleplaying although I've only been doing it for a few years. Before then it was online roleplaying in Star Trek: Elite Force. We used to create huge game levels of Galaxy-class and Sovereign-class starships (bridge, engineering, quarters, transporter room, cargo bays, labs, you name it, it was in them) and roleplay that we were the crew. Great times.

Am I the only over-40 who really, really wishes she could still play some Dungeons and Dragons? Maybe my kid will let me DM for him when he's older...
