Knights of the Round Table song from Monty Python and the Holy Grail put to Star Trek TOS clips.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luVjk...eature=related I looked around to see if this was posted, couldn't find anything sorry if it was.

Thanks Diron. I love Trek and I love Python so that was a particularly fun clip for me.
I wonder how long it takes to put something like that together.

Modern editing tools make it relatively simple unless you are a newbie.

I am something of a newbie. But its not the editing I'm wondering about but finding and deciding which Trek clips would be best for the specific purpose.

Depends really I would think on how well you know the source material. The one who did this one might know the epsiodes backwards and forwards. Certainly those with the dancing. And yes... it takes imagination as always. Nobody can teach that.
For this one, knowing the song %100 is one of those all important keys. Also the lyrics printed out via the net for reference of specific words, phrases and timing as you go along. Then pick out some potential relevant episodes... again such as with dancing. And with the song in your head watch them. Write down possibilities. When editing make clips of the possibilities inside the editor and see which ones work best. Swapping them out and moving them around. |
