Well just remember that although I'm going in with a non-Trekkie open mind, I'm not going in with an empty mind.

I'll still be judging the movie on strength of plot, characters, it's ability to pull me into the story, dialogue, set design (ie: do I believe I'm in the future).

When I come back, I'll be fair but also honest. It's just the way I am folks.

If I really hate the movie, you'll know because I'll change my avatar, if I only dislike the movie, then they'll be a different change, if I don't care one way or the other no change or a different Defiant. If I like the movie, then new movie avatar.

Okay...

A coworker was skeptical about going to see it, but after she saw it she was glad she did. She could hardly contain her excitement. She is a long time fan since TOS and her cubicle is plastered with Trek.

Just to say I have now seen the movie.

I've written down some non-Trekkie thoughts on the movie, but I just need a bit of time to make sure I've got in everything I thought/felt explained and clear.

I'll post these thoughts in a separate post, hopefully tomorrow and then change my avatar to reflect my mood on the movie.

<---Very neutral smilie!
