Yes, yes, Dark Shadows. But not on the big screen; they did that and it was rather forgettable, since they took the (then novel) idea that a vampire could be a sympathetic character and turned him evil for the movie.

I think it could go as a TV show again, just not a soap opera. It was too glacially paced before and the everyday shooting schedule ate into the performances. As an evening show, it could be great, provided they kept the characters true to the original show.
