1. Alien 2. The Secret of Nim 3. Dune 4. Explorers 5. Labyrinth 6. The Last Starfighter 7. E.T. 8. Watership Down 9. Poltergeist 10. All the Star Trek movies ... I had a weird taste in movies as a child.

Martok, did you read Dances w/ Wolves? The movie followed the book absolutely perfectly - moreso than any other book-turned-movie I've ever seen.
