Default Who is this 1-sec cameo at the end of the movie?

At the very end of the movie after the younger Spock returns to the Enterprise asks Kirk for permission to serve on the Enterprise), there is a very short 0.5 second reflection of a woman that takes up almost half of the entire movie screen. If you pay close attention to the moment Spock enters the bridge after Kirk allows him to enter, you see that reflection for a tiny flash. I am certain JJ put that it on purpose -- but who is she?

I know the scene but without being able to pause it's hard to say.

As far as I can remember she's wearing red and has short brown hair.

Based on the layout of the bridge she would have to be somewhere behind Sulu.
But I don't think there is a clear shot of her in that scene other than that split second flash.

I zoomed in on Uhura in that scene.

i actually noticed her too, but i'm not sure it was done on purpose. it's as Spock walks on the bridge, and the doors are closing behind him. i think the camera movement catches that glass divider, and you just happen to see a reflection. it's not intentional, or if it is, we're not meant to know who it is. it could just be something personal that JJ threw in there, but i think it was unintentional. it was kind of disracting though.

JJ doesn't seem to be the the type of director to put something like that in there unintentionally. Not saying there has to be a reason, just the chances are very high in favor of it.

Never noticed it. I'll have to check this weekend for it.

Why do you feel this is important?
