Default mr spocks emotional status and the kolihnar

i believe mr spock's feelings were so vibrant cause he didnt undergo the kolihnar ritual to get rid of them,he could have avoided the anger for the death of his mother,of the bridge fight with kirk

what do u think?

hmmm... Perhaps, but didn't he try the Kohlinar during the events of TMP in the original time line? If so, why was he so logical in TOS? If memory serves, the Spock character has been all over the map emotionally. As the character evloved, so did his backstory.

He still very young for a Vulcan in the film and it was generally known that he found it difficult to balance those emotions out.

Actually, watching the two Spocks at the end of the film brought something into light for me, about the overall journey Spock takes in life.

It's like a circle - in the film we see him as a young man, still struggling to balance himself between his cultures - in the series and films we saw him try to expunge them for good and choosing not to complete Kohlinar - returning to the crew and continuing to work on them, then as he got older learning to actually use his emotions in conjunction with his logic to the point where, as older Spock Prime, he's actually now comfortable with his emotions and can employ them where needed.

I just thought seeing the two together kinda made me see the journey that Spock takes in his life with his human side.
