They've screwed with him before, with the history of Firefly. I was always half surprised he went back to working with them in the first place.

But at least it does have a second season order then?

Yea Joss Whedon is a Genius. I've liked everything he's done. Even the Web show "Dr Horribles Sing Along Blog" was good

Joss Whedon is good. I loved Buffy and Firefly. Can't say I really fully enjoyed Dollhouse, although I love Eliza Dushku.

If Joss does another series of something, I'd like to see him put Eliza Dushku and Summer Glau together in it. That would be droolworthy beyond words.

Interesting to see this thread revived. I was singing the Firefly theme on the way home from work tonight.

It wasn't used in Serenity, was it? I forget.

At the conclusion of the end credits of Serenity, the music is heard to the song, but not the words. Also, it is done in a lower key.

Hmmm. I may not have watched all of the creds. I often do but maybe not this time. Think I'll watch it again soon, and the series as well. Perhaps when I get home from Star Trek tomorrow, fourth screening!

A man with a plan!

I need to get Firefly on Blu-Ray. Have Serenity on Blu-Ray, and have the series on DVD, but I definitely want the blu-ray.
